During restoration, the original wood revealed distinctive floral ghosting, which was intentionally preserved on selected drawer fronts rather than erased. That variation gives the piece a genuinely singular surface and makes it impossible to reproduce exactly.

The dresser has been carefully cleaned, sanded, refinished, and sealed while retaining appropriate signs of age and character. The goal was not to make an old piece appear factory-new, but to restore it into a functional, highly considered statement piece while preserving evidence of its history.

Minor age-related loss is present at one corner of the upper right drawer; it is stable and does not affect function. Original variations, marks, and surface character consistent with the piece’s age have been intentionally preserved. All drawers operate properly, and the hardware is securely installed.

Five drawers provide substantial storage, with two smaller upper drawers and three larger lower drawers.
