Painted swan by Diana Mihaltse—a celebrated folk artist from New England known for transforming used tin into whimsical painted tin creations.
Cut from a single sheet of galvanized tin and mounted on a black-painted wood base. Painted only on its front-facing side. The unpainted reverse is bare tin with a bit of rust, plus a small nail hole at the tip of the tail.
The underside of the base carries the artist's signature and an inscription — Diana Mihaltse, a folk artist based in Wilton, Connecticut.
Measures approximately 19.5"L x 13.25"H x 3.25"D at the base.
