A well composed maritime watercolor painting of a sailing ship moored in a coastal harbor.
The early carved gilt wood frame is one of our favorites and suits the painting very well.
Signed on the lower left of the painting as shown.
Dated '50 (1950)

Sourced in New Hampshire and is the first time this artwork has been on the market.
The painting is in as found condition behind glass and a beige mat.
The painting has not been removed from the frame and appears to be in good condition.
The frame has its original gilt finish with minor losses.
The mat has minor wear. There is a faint black line which indicates that the artist or owner used an old preowned mat to frame the painting.
