Handwoven from rattan, its broad, rounded form is defined by an intricate open weave and a warm natural patina that reflects the beauty of gently aged materials. At 20.25 inches wide and deep and 17 inches high, it has a substantial yet graceful profile, making it equally effective as a vessel for a floral arrangement or as a standalone decorative accent.

The basket’s tactile surface and softly varied tones showcase the quiet simplicity associated with Japanese design. Its woven construction remains structurally sound, with no visible breaks or repairs. Minor surface wear and slight discoloration are present, consistent with age and use, and add to its authentic character. The natural rattan texture pairs beautifully with collected interiors, coastal rooms, and contemporary spaces seeking a grounded artisanal element. See less
