Each diamond is packed with small latch-hooks in shifting colors, so the field reads almost like confetti from a distance. Tiny horses, camels, dogs and birds wander in the open ground throughout.

Colors and shades include: Heather lavender, dusty mauve, brick red, saffron, sky blue, forest green, ivory, plum and camel.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan in Ghazni wool on a cotton foundation with natural dyes. Ivory border of hooked hexagons and S-motifs in alternating jewel tones. A new Kazak carpet with the graphic, playful spirit of Caucasian village weaving. Fully secured sides and ends, washed and ready for in-home use. Size measures 8'0" x 9'7" (245 x 292 cm). See less
