The drawing is open and unhurried, leaving generous breathing room between motifs, and the soft oatmeal abrash through the ground gives it the gentle, sun-faded warmth of a much older piece.

Colors and shades include: Ivory, oatmeal, deep violet, amethyst, cornflower, sea glass, sage, copper and toasted walnut.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan in Ghazni wool on a cotton foundation with natural dyes. Ivory main border of violet and sage palmettes on a meandering vine, framed by fine guard stripes. A new Oushak carpet in the quiet, collected spirit of the originals. Fully secured sides and ends, washed and ready for in-home use. Size measures 8'3" x 9'9" (252 x 298 cm). See less
