This is a set of 2 original, vintage, French, haute couture, 1930’s pocketbook/purse fashion design drawings. Purchased from a Parisian collector of fashion works. They are done on translucent drawing paper by French designer, A. Henrypierre. See photo of his business card! Each is signed. The drawings have strong Art Deco styling. They are elegant with great structural architectual features. The purse drawings are done in pencil with detailed highlights of a yellow tone color. These are the actual designer work sheet drawings; note there is a slight center vertical fold mark in each. You are purchasing rare (almost 100 years old) fashion history with this set. Each measures 6.5 x 12 inches in size. Each comes floated on illustration board. Perfect for today's fashionista or Art Deco conoisseur. You are purchasing a piece of history with these!!!
