Axel salto inspired organic shape and glazes from royal copenhagen. A set of hourglass shaped stoneware vases candlesticks designed by gerd bogelund during the 1950s or early 60s. Decorated with a dark brown main glaze and featuring abstract/floral impressions in lighter glazes up towards the neck. Fully marked on the base with designer initials, serial number and makers mark from royal copenhagen. Measurements: h: 15.7 cm, d: 6 cm at the top. To use as candlesticks they are to be installed with regular sized candles. This piece has an attribution mark,
