This striking mid-century lithograph was produced by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) for the Department of Tourism, Government of India. Printed in June 1960 by the renowned Shiv Raj Fine Art Litho Works, Nagpur, the graphic composition depicts temple spires, vivid parasols, bathers, and ceremonial riverboats along the sacred Ghats of the Ganges in bold, modernist color-blocking and stylized typography.
