Charming pair of late 19th century French Provincial salt & flour boxes. Both raised on cabriole legs with hoof feet. The flour box (left) operates via a sliding door whereas the salt box (right) features a hinged lid and small drawer. Crafted from walnut. Each box features intricate, hand-carved fish and floral ornamentation. They can be either wall mounted or placed on a countertop.
