The sweeping open cradle is designed to hold fireplace logs and is topped by a substantial stitched brown leather carrying handle secured with brass-tone rivets. Small black metal feet raise the basket from the floor, while tightly wrapped edges and beautifully executed weaving give the utilitarian form an unusually refined appearance.
