The upper glass has a beautifully mottled, tortoiseshell-like spatter treatment that takes on an especially rich glow when illuminated from within. The warm coloration transitions into a broad ivory band before finishing with a dark brown base, giving the piece a sculptural, organic-modern presence.

Originally designed as a hurricane candle vessel, the generously proportioned form also makes an exceptional flower vase or dining, console, or coffee-table centerpiece. Equally attractive displayed empty as a decorative art glass object.

Pier 1 offered coordinating beverage tumblers featuring the same distinctive glass treatment.
