Finished in weathered honey oak, this carved oak side table is distinguished by scalloped apron, cabriole legs, reflecting the louis xv sensibility of of the louis xv period France design. Its surface and joinery bear the honest, gradual wear of genuine age rather than a manufactured distress, evidence of a long working life already lived. There is a particular satisfaction in owning something with real history behind it, rather than something made to be replaced in a few short years. It is one of the better decisions you can make for the planet as well as your home, since furniture built this solidly rarely needs replacing. It is well suited to a lamp table. See less
