The warm blush pink surface highlights fine relief-carved frame, soft blush-toned finish, characteristic of Italy furniture making in the french provincial tradition, of the french provincial period. The gentle wear across its surface was earned over real decades of use, not applied for effect, and it only adds to the piece's presence. Each mark and softened edge on a piece like this is part of its history rather than a flaw to be hidden. Choosing an antique is also a small, meaningful act of sustainability: it keeps a well-made object in circulation instead of adding a new one to a landfill. It is well suited to above a vanity or console. See less
