Incredibly hard-to-find original East Side Kids movie poster.
The East Side Kids were a comedic troupe of adolescent boys who featured in multiple films from 1940-1945. Despite being a low-budget imitation of the popular Dead End Kids, the East Side Kids gained a small following and featured members of the "Our Gang" crew and the aforementioned Dead End Kids.
This poster was released prior to the East Side Kids' second feature after their self-titled debut earlier in the year. In addition to the ESK, the film featured Frankie Burke, Donald Haines, and Dave O'Brien, actors who featured in multiple ESK films, and newcomers Vince Barnett and Inna Gest. The plot of this comedic thriller focuses on the boys' misadventures after they are sent away to a summer camp in the Adirondacks as a result of their mischief.
