Each panel features a magnificent central composition: an elaborately hand-carved cornucopia overflowing with acanthus scrolls, flowering vines, and a lush bouquet of roses in high relief. The carving is deeply incised and fluid, characteristic of Louis XV artisanship, where the foliate scrolls seem to grow organically from the frame.

The panels retain their sublime original polychrome finish - layers of soft sage green, faded rose pink, and creamy white over a warm gesso ground, all over a natural oak base. The close-ups reveal the authentic craquelure, paint loss, and weathered patina that only centuries can create. The top of each bouquet features applied gesso flowers with incredible dimensional texture.
