An elegant English Art Deco display cabinet from around 1930, crafted in warm-toned, vividly grained walnut veneer.
The gently curved front is dominated by two glazed doors with decorative geometric muntins. Glazed sides and multiple glass shelves create a light, transparent effect and allow for the effective presentation of porcelain, glassware, collectibles, or decorative accessories.
Characteristic features include the finely rounded front corners, the gently curved top with understated carved decoration, and the elegantly shaped cabriole legs with carved claw feet. This combination of traditional English furniture motifs and simplified Art Deco design is typical of British furniture from the interwar period.
The cabinet retains its original lock and key. It shows signs of age and retains a patina, and is in good, authentic vintage condition overall.
