Set of five lunch plates in the classic “Blue Fluted Plain” pattern, hand-painted in cobalt blue on fluted porcelain. A quintessential Royal Copenhagen design from the 1950s. Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: D. 23 cm. Period: 1950s. Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear. Marked with the Royal Copenhagen stamp, cancelled with two incised lines. “Blue Fluted Plain” was introduced in 1775 and remains Royal Copenhagen’s most iconic and historically significant service.
