Handsome vintage oak barrister-style stacking bookcase featuring five removable cabinet sections, including a distinctive leaded-glass upper section.
The bookcase has a warm oak finish with attractive grain, paneled sides, brass-tone knobs and glass-front doors. The upper cabinet is particularly attractive, featuring geometric leaded glass that gives the piece considerably more character than a typical barrister bookcase.
The five cabinet sections are made in graduated heights, allowing for books, albums and decorative objects of varying sizes. Some pictures show furniture dolly wheels which is not included.
A particularly useful feature is its completely modular construction. The bookcase separates into seven individual pieces — five stacking cabinet sections, a removable top and a separate base. This makes a tall 73-inch bookcase surprisingly easy to move, transport and install.
A handsome and functional piece for a library, office, study or living room.
