Handsome vintage oak barrister-style stacking bookcase featuring five removable cabinet sections, including a distinctive leaded-glass upper section.
The bookcase has a warm oak finish with attractive grain, paneled sides, brass-tone knobs and glass-front doors. The upper cabinet is particularly attractive, featuring geometric leaded glass that gives the piece considerably more character than a typical barrister bookcase.
The five cabinet sections are made in graduated heights, allowing for books, albums and decorative objects of varying sizes. A particularly useful feature is its completely modular construction. The bookcase separates into seven individual pieces — five stacking cabinet sections, a removable top and a separate base. This makes a tall 73-inch bookcase surprisingly easy to move, transport and install.
