Angular palmettes, star flowers, serrated leaves and thin branching vines spread across the field, framed by an ivory border of rosettes and a wide brown outer band of leaf sprays and turtle motifs.

Hand-knotted from hand-spun wool with a low, even pile on a cotton foundation. All colors are natural vegetable and mineral dyes, which give the soft tones and the light color shifts (abrash) you get from hand-dyed wool. The dark ground makes the blue, rust, gold and ivory motifs stand out.

Colors: brown-black, sky blue, rust, gold, sage green, ivory and brick red.
