An exceptionally decorative antique Continental European occasional or coffee table in the Louis XVI Revival style, dating to approximately the late 19th or early 20th century.

The rectangular top features extensive multi-wood marquetry centered by an elaborate oval musical trophy composed of a lute or mandolin, horn, drum, drapery, flowers, and foliage. The central composition is surrounded by finely detailed floral sprays, urn motifs, scrolling foliate ornament, contrasting veneers, and geometric borders. Small touches of red-colored inlay provide additional detail within the floral decoration.

The marquetry decoration continues onto the apron, with contrasting wood panels and classical foliate motifs. Four slender turned and fluted legs are accented with decorative cast brass-tone foliate collars, further reinforcing the table's Louis XVI Revival character.

The table displays traditional wood construction with substantial corner blocks and a top measuring approximately 5/8" thick. No maker's mark or country-of-origin mark was found. Based upon its construction, materials, design, and visible age, we believe the table dates to approximately 1890–1910 and is Continental European, possibly French or Italian.

Condition: Good antique/vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The top exhibits scattered surface scratches, light finish wear and other minor marks. There is a very small area of missing veneer/marquetry on the tabletop, measuring approximately 1/4" x 1/16", as shown in the photographs. Additional minor wear and finish variation are present around the frame, legs and brass mounts. The brass retains an attractive aged patina.
