Vivid and bright, this summer landscape of California oaks in Monterey county is by Corralitos, California artist Oleta Naomi Bode (American, 1914-2008). Signed lower right with name card on verso. Presented in a giltwood and painted frame. Image size: 18"H x 24"W.
Oleta was a talented artist and enjoyed an oil painting career that spanned nearly 40 years. A Santa Cruz Art League exhibitor and she also studied with professor Hans Schuler of the Schuler School of Art , Washington. D. C.
