The original finish was carefully removed to reveal the wood’s striking range of honey, reddish-brown and deep chocolate tones. The entire dresser—including the top, drawer fronts, sides, frame and unusually attractive paneled back—was refinished and protected with three coats of a durable satin clear finish.

Two smaller upper drawers and two spacious full-width lower drawers provide generous storage. Each drawer has been refreshed with a decorative floral liner, while antique-brass knobs complement the warmth and natural movement of the wood.

The dresser’s tapered legs, framed drawer fronts and beautifully figured wood give it an organic-modern character that works well in contemporary, transitional and relaxed interiors. Because the back has also been completely refinished, the piece presents beautifully from every angle.

This is a professionally restored, pre-owned piece. Natural variations in color, grain and small character marks are inherent to the wood and contribute to its distinctive appearance.
