The wings are fully spread and heavily detailed, with individually carved, layered feathers that taper into pointed tips, giving the piece a strong sense of movement and lift. The face is carved with a serene, classical expression, framed by long, wavy hair rendered in deep, textured grooves. The robe falls in soft, naturalistic folds with a diagonal sash draped across the torso, consistent with traditional angel or annunciation-style iconography.

The wings and horn are removable, a practical construction detail typical of larger carved figural pieces meant for religious or ceremonial display. The artists initials are present on the bottom of the piece. See less
