A brutalist mixed-metal sculpture depicting two elongated figures rendered in twisted wire and chain-link construction, reaching toward a large torn brass panel that resembles a ladder rung, torch, or fragment of architecture.
The panel shows a rough, hammered surface with an irregular jagged top edge and a small rectangular opening cut into its face, giving it a weathered, almost ruinous quality.
The figures themselves are built from coiled and knotted metal strands that create a skeletal, textured silhouette, one figure appears to be leaning out of the panel while the second stands below, arms extended upward as if bracing or reaching.
The piece is mounted on a flat black base, with a small metal signature etched into to the front corner.
