A pair of vintage candlesticks featuring slender black fluted columns with warm brass-toned mounts and broad circular bases. Their classical architectural form is inspired by Regency and Neoclassical design, creating a refined contrast between the dark columns and aged golden metal.
The balanced proportions and understated colour palette make them attractive decorative accents for a mantelpiece, dining table, console or library interior. Each candle socket accommodates a standard taper candle measuring approximately 2.5 cm in diameter.
The pair dates to the second half of the 20th century and displays an appealing naturally aged finish.
There are minimal surface marks, scratches, small areas of wear to the black finish and variations in the brass-toned patina consistent with age and previous use.
