A striking French Art Deco pedestal crafted from solid oak, dating to the 1920s. This elegant display stand embodies the refined geometric language of the Art Deco period, featuring a tapered columnar form, stepped detailing, and a distinctive curved base that lends both stability and visual balance.
The rich oak grain and warm patina have developed beautifully over time, enhancing the sculptural character of the piece. Its compact proportions make it ideal as a pedestal for displaying sculpture, ceramics, plants, or other decorative objects, while its architectural silhouette allows it to function as a decorative accent in its own right.
Presented in good, sturdy condition with age-appropriate wear and a well-preserved antique patina consistent with nearly a century of use.
A versatile and timeless Art Deco piece that brings warmth, craftsmanship, and period character to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
