Handmade in upstate NY but 1 large family business, this 1980s solid brass and onyx table lamp is a Belle Epoch epitome with it's hand made shade frame. Another family member stretched and sewed the double sheer fabric and a third relative did the wiring.
Nice sage green embroidered shade and yellow onyx ball on the lamp base. Funny story-we bought perhaps 2 dozen lamps from them when they journeyed through our are in NY, sold almost all of them in weeks and then tried for years to find them again (pre-web days). but could not for maybe 5 years when they returned to our shop. This is the last one of the lineage.
See the 1 inner fabric hole from a hot bulb-not an issue anymore with LED bulbs. You can see just a small white patch on 1 panel.
