Elegant French milk glass pineapple jar produced by the renowned Portieux-Vallerysthal glassworks in Lorraine. Featuring deeply molded diamond quilting and a flared crown top, this sculptural form reflects the pineapple’s historic symbolism of hospitality and abundance.
The glass displays a soft, luminous white opacity with crisp mold detail throughout—hallmarks of late 19th-century French pressed glass.
Pineapple forms in French milk glass are notably rarer than their American counterparts, making this a highly desirable decorative object.
