Make a bold statement with this striking black French Boulle-inspired commode, distinguished by its dramatic curved silhouette, glossy black finish, and elaborate gold leaf and bronze ornamentation. The front is framed with intricate gilded mounts and scrolling decorative motifs, creating a sophisticated contrast against the deep black wood.
The piece features two large functional drawers with ornate gilded hardware and generous storage space. Its most distinctive detail is the spectacular radiating line pattern across the top, created with contrasting wood detailing that fans outward from the center and gives the surface an exceptional graphic quality.
A dramatic and sophisticated addition to a formal living room, entryway, bedroom, dining room, or luxury interior, this one-of-a-kind commode combines traditional European decorative elements with a striking black-and-gold aesthetic.
