A fantastic opportunity … Read more An outstanding pair of venetian glass chandeliers of large proportions hand painted with gold and black decoration. A fantastic opportunity to buy a pair of flamboyant chandeliers, bought from a grand hotel foyer on the south coast of england.
comprising 24 incised polished aluminium arms radiating from the centre, each supporting a frosted glass stylized flower, from which hang 6 delicate drops. The chandelier is finished underneath by a glass bowl with black and gold decoration, and are hung from sturdy welded black japanned chains. Currently fitted with forty-eight uk and european 3.6 watt led light bulbs.
sympathetically cleaned, polished and electrically tested. There is a petal missing off one of the flowers, and a small crack on one of the inner flowers (see last image), but other than that little bit of damage, they are in wonderful condition.
