The design is distinguished by its continuous upholstered form, with black leather wrapping the seat, back and slender tapered legs for a sculptural, visually seamless profile.

All six chairs are marked B&B Italia on the back. One retains its original underside manufacturer’s label identifying the model as “VOL AU VENT,” with “Disegno MARIO BELLINI” and Made in Italy markings.

The Vol Au Vent features an internal tubular steel frame with molded polyurethane padding beneath its upholstery. B&B Italia describes the design as being offered in either leather or fabric.

Condition: Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. The leather shows scattered scratches, scuffs, creasing, staining and general surface wear.
