It exhibits some amazing micro pave work with an encrustation of so many diamonds that you have to look at the ring under a loop to be able to spot any metal. The center stone is a beautiful, clear Old European Cut diamond, with good proportions, a high table, and an open culet in the back—all prized attributes of an Old European Cut. Within the micro pave, there are two elements—one that contains emeralds and one that contains bead set Old Mine Cut diamonds. The emeralds are placed in two S-shaped motifs that flank either side of the large center diamond, and are finished with delicate milgrain work. The rest of the ring is covered in micro pave diamonds packed so tightly that all of the surface area of the ring is fully covered down to where the ring shanks begins. The ring is expertly crafted and is a true masterpiece of jewelry.

The rings TCW is 1.6 carats of natural antique diamonds. The center stone is an Old European Cut that measures 5.75 mm and is approximately 0.7 carats. It is very clear, G-H in color and VS2 in clarity. The ring contains approximately 52 Old Mine Cut diamonds that range in size from 1 - 2 mm and G-J in color SL2 in clarity.

The ring is 10.10 mm wide at its widest point on the face of the ring. The shank is 5.6 mm and narrows down to 3.4 mm. The ring weighs 4.05 grams. Though the transition is seamless, the top part of the ring is all original platinum and the back shank is 14k white gold, which indicates the ring was re-shanked. Unmarked; acid tests as platinum and 14k white gold.
