It has a shorter length of 13.75”, making it perfect for a choker or tighter-fitting look. The chain is marked on both ends for 12k 1/20 gold, which means that a thick outer layer of 12k gold has been bonded to a base metal. The 12k gold layer makes up 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight. The outer layer is thick enough that it will not easily wear off over time and provides the look of solid gold. With the cost of gold being so high, this piece offers an affordable way to own an antique gold chain. It ends with a dog clip and a spring ring clasp.

The chain measures 13.75” long. It fits like a choker or can be made longer with your own version of a chain extender. The elongated links measure 13.7 x 3.6 mm. It weighs 7.9 grams. Marked 12k 1/20.
