Up for sale is a framed vintage 1987/1988 Federal Duck stamp promotional poster featuring the iconic “Redheads” artwork by award-winning wildlife artist Arthur G Anderson.
This is an official point of sale (POS) advertising poster originally displayed in galleries to market the limited edition print release. It features rich, vibrant colors, depicting three ducks, flying over a wetland marsh, complete with bold commercial topography reading “The Federal” at the top. The artists signature is pre-printed at the bottom.
The peace comes housed in a gold toned metal frame, and is ready to hang. A wonderful addition to a cabin, study, or for anyone who loves traditional wildlife and Americana decor.

The poster remains vibrant under the glass and is free from any major feeding or water damage. The original gold tone frame is structurally sound and intact, showing only light surface scuffs rubbing along the edges from the handling over the years. The paper backing on the reverse side remain securely attached and features a wonderful handwritten holiday inscription from Christmas 1988 “Merry Christmas, Chuck!! From: Blicks crew at the Citadel”This anchors the piece beautifully to its original era and adds a great bit of unique historical context to the frame. The system will not take a measurement narrower than 3 inches but this thing is only 1 1/4 inch thick. less
