Elegant pair of vintage table lamps crafted from pale powder-blue opaline glass with delicate gilt detailing, gilt-metal bases and distinctive dark patinated metal palm-leaf mounts.
Each slender urn-form opaline glass body is accented with fine gold bands and appears to emerge from a sculptural five-frond palm-leaf collar. Coordinating pale blue opaline glass elements and stepped gilt-metal circular bases complete the design. The contrast between the soft blue glass, aged gold-tone bases and darker patinated palm leaves gives the pair a sophisticated French-inspired Hollywood Regency character.
Particularly appealing are their tall, narrow proportions. Measuring approximately 27 inches high to the top of the finials with compact 6-inch-diameter bases, they provide substantial height without requiring much surface space. An elegant choice for bedside chests, a console, writing desk or living room end tables.

Good vintage condition with some age-related wear, particularly to the metal finishes. The gilt-metal bases show scattered dark spotting, oxidation and patina. The fine gilt banding on the opaline glass also shows areas of wear and loss. The dark patinated palm-leaf mounts and other metal hardware display additional oxidation and age-related variation. The opaline glass presents beautifully.
