each small cup is formed in deep ruby-red lead crystal and decorated with an elaborate neoclassical garland composed of laurel swags, ribbons and tassels. Broad gilded rims complete the luxurious design, giving the set a distinctive hollywood regency character inspired by classical italian and french decorative arts.
their small proportions make them ideal for serving liqueurs, digestifs, aperitifs, spirits or traditional after-dinner shots. They could also be used as decorative tasting cups.

all six retain their original interglass paper labels confirming that they were handmade in italy from 24% lead crystal and decorated with 24k gold. The survival of the labels, together with the remarkably well-preserved gilding, suggests that the set has seen very limited use.

these cups form part of a larger matching interglass drinking and coffee service, including highball glasses, wine or water goblets and demitasse cups with saucers. The complete coordinated service is also available.
