The elongated folk art display incorporates carved and constructed figures, miniature machinery, wheels, pulleys, belts, tools, and workshop structures arranged across a raised wooden platform.

Turning the exterior handle activates several kinetic elements throughout the scene, including the blacksmith, sawmill, saws, hammer, wooden gymnast, forge equipment, rotating wheels, and a female figure positioned beside a colorful spinning display.

The interconnected mechanisms create an animated industrial scene in which the figures appear to operate and power the miniature workshop.
