crafted from solid oak, the chair features wegner’s characteristic sculptural construction, beautifully shaped armrests and relaxed, gently reclined proportions. The warm oak frame is complemented by its original green fabric upholstery, creating a timeless scandinavian expression.

this example has been remarkably well preserved and remains in outstanding original condition. The upholstery, cushions, springs and wooden frame are all original and exceptionally well maintained. Despite its age, the chair presents beautifully, with virtually no visible signs of wear.

the ge-290 series is a classic example of wegner’s approach to danish modern furniture: combining excellent craftsmanship, comfort and a clean architectural form.
