Three dutch historical engravings presented together under a cream mat in a single dark wooden frame. The subjects include wolfert van borselen, a portrait study and the founding of the dutch east india company, captioned "de oost ind. Comp: opgericht".
the current framed arrangement was assembled in the 1970s; this dates the assembly, not the original printing of the engravings. The historical year 1602 relates to the depicted event.
framed dimensions: width 36 cm, height 19 cm. Frame depth has not been measured; the 1 cm depth field is a placeholder, not the actual depth.
