Possessing a particularly elegant presence due to its generous proportions, this chandelier features a rich bronze mount adorned with scrolls, volutes, and foliage, developed in a free and dynamic rocaille style. The eighteen light arms unfold harmoniously on several levels around a substantial central body, while the mount is entirely punctuated with an abundance of cut crystals, tassels, pendants, and daggers. The profusion of these elements, combined with the supple movement of the mount, gives the whole a spectacular silhouette and a remarkable presence, particularly appealing in both classical and more contemporary interiors. Suspended by a chain from a substantial bronze element decorated with foliage, this chandelier testifies to the late 19th-century French taste for reinterpreting the great decorative repertoires of the 18th century. with its diameter of 100 cm and height of 110 cm, it has a scale particularly suited to large spaces and constitutes a decorative element in its own right, as remarkable when unlit as when lit.
