This heavily textured painting, depicts a desert scene with a rider mounted on a camel accompanied by a second figure standing alongside another camel in an expansive, sparsely detailed landscape, against an open horizon and a luminous sky. Rendered in muted tones of blue, cream, ochre, and gray. Bares signature lower right "Khos Roui". Condition consistent with age, including surface wear, minor paint loss, and evidence of a previously repaired canvas puncture visible from the reverse, but overall good decorative presentation. It is housed in a narrow dark-stained wood frame featuring a rope-twist molded inner border, and exhibits light wear, minor scuffs, and finish loss consistent with age and handling. See less
