The ground is left in the wool's natural undyed shades, so it reads as a soft, striated oatmeal-and-taupe field like driftwood. Rising from it are weeping willows, cypresses and flowering trees with tiny blossoms hanging from their branches, in brick red, teal, navy, sage, ochre and ivory, with small birds and rosettes scattered between them.

The palette is quiet enough to sit in a neutral hallway yet carries real color when the light hits the teal and red. Vegetable dyes give the motifs their depth and the natural wool ground its gentle tonal shifts. Made for a long hallway, kitchen, stair landing or bedside, and easy with mid-century, Scandinavian, English country, coastal and organic-modern interiors.
