The shallow bowl features four large heart-shaped cartouches outlined in white enamel and filled with finely painted floral sprays and scrolling motifs. Gilded fields between the panels are embellished with stylized enamel leaves and blossoms.

The bowl rests on an engraved silver-plated pedestal stand with a flared foot and foliate decoration. The darkened metal provides a striking contrast to the luminous cranberry glass.

This distinctive heart-cartouche decoration is documented on Moser tableware from the George Klabin Collection and illustrated in Gary D. Baldwin’s Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection. This example was also previously sold by Soulis Auctions in its 2024 Exceptional Moser Art Glass 1870–1960 sale from the private Mile High Collection.
