The irregular clay setting has a deliberately raw, primitive character with a metallic antique gold finish, creating the appearance of aged metal while retaining the tactile qualities of its handmade construction.

The pendant is suspended from a substantial vintage tortoise link chain accented with textured gold tone links, glossy black components, and translucent amber red resin links. The combination of natural rough crystal, hand formed clay, and vintage chain creates an unconventional mixed media piece with the dramatic scale and sculptural presence associated with late 20th century statement jewelry.

The rough calcite crystals remain highly visible within the oversized pendant, emphasizing the contrast between natural geological forms and the irregular handmade setting. A bold piece of wearable art with an intentionally imperfect, primitive quality. See less
