This ice bucket, one of two designed by Quistgaard, is one of the most sought after Dansk pieces. Constructed using a barrel-making technique, coopering, he achieves a beautiful pattern while strengthening the wood, preventing it from cracking and splitting. This piece includes the original vibrant orange insert to protect the wood and insulate ice. The bottom features the original Dansk makers mark and, regardless of age, the piece is in excellent condition with only a few minimal, shallow, minor dents. Over time, it has earned a gorgeous patina giving the teak even more depth. The bucket is complimented by its original, simple, matching lid to be cherished just as it was when it was originally produced. See less
