Antique French white ironstone (faïence fine) soupière with lid, made by Keller & Guérin at the Lunéville manufactory in Lorraine, … Read more Antique French white ironstone (faïence fine) soupière with lid, made by Keller & Guérin at the Lunéville manufactory in Lorraine, late 19th to early 20th century. Footed oval body with molded acanthus-scroll handles at each end, domed lid with a foliate ring finial. Creamy white glaze throughout, no decoration.

Marked underneath with the green "Opaque de Lunéville" crowned shield and laurel wreath backstamp.

Condition: good antique condition with light overall crazing and faint age staining to the glaze, consistent with use. One chip to the outer rim of the lid, roughly 1 cm, through the glaze to the body (see photo). Finial and handles intact. No cracks or repairs.
