Featuring a sculptural, architectural stacked baluster body, the column rises beautifully from a substantial, footed octagonal solid wood base plate.

The heavy structural column features a factory-stamped "SANDEL" maker's mark right above the base, certifying its authenticity from the renowned Sandel Manufacturing Company of Chicago.

The piece is finished in an attractive, intentionally distressed faux black and silver patina. For true vintage purists, this piece comes with a llarge fluted drum shade, capturing the dramatic silhouette envisioned by its mid-century designers.

Outfitted with its original vintage ETL-certified non-polarized wiring and a robust three-way Leviton socket, the lamp has been fully tested and functions perfectly.

Condition Report:
Very good vintage operational condition. The heavy metal column is structurally sound and fully intact. A few tiny, purely cosmetic chips are present on the lower metal casting rings and near the bottom base, exposing a tiny sliver of grey metal underneath (easily blended with hobby paint or a metallic pen if desired). The fluted drum shade is structurally sound but shows age-appropriate vintage wear, surface staining, and interior liner aging typical of its 50+ year history—offering excellent character or serving as a perfect pattern template for a professional fabric relining.
