The elephant is particularly expressive, with an exuberantly curled raised trunk, large woven ears, curved wood tusks, articulated feet and tail, and a fixed oval saddle-form top.

The elongated silhouette and intricate wicker work give the piece considerable decorative presence while maintaining a compact footprint.
